Ninja Coffee Bar model number CF11130 to be exact. The model numbers are strange with this one. I can't find that exact model number on the internet anywhere but it seems like it's the same as the CF110 models and the extra numbers have to do with all the extra garbage that comes along with it like the carafe or something. This is definitely mine and this appears to be the official ninja link for the model series.
There are a few negative reviews for this, but I don't care what anyone else says, this is the best coffee maker for my situation. I used to have a Keureg and then a Cuisinart K-Cup type machine (so not Keureg branded, but uses K-Cups) and they were ok, but the K cups were too expensive. With the Ninja, it uses #2 coffee filters and you put in just a little bit of regular coffee and it makes a single cup of coffee of different sizes (like the Keureg). I priced it out and it's really a no brainer. If you don't care to have to measure coffee grounds and put in a filter every time, this works great and is much cheaper in the long run then a Keureg. When I did the math I violated the most basic math rules and did not save my work, so I have no proof, but one day I'll, put it on here as a reminder to not go back.
This is a picture of the exact unit in my kitchen, not a stock image. I just wanted to be clear since I slacked off and used someone else's kitchen for the banner on this page.
So this was strange. I have a coffee cup and my wife has a coffee cup and we both use different sizes on the machine. I use XL and she uses Travel. There was an instance where the reservoir was not filled high enough before brewing, and as a result, it was drained dry. After that, the preset fill settings would fill cups higher than previously. The XL almost overflowed my cup.
The fix?
You have to drain your entire coffee maker. What I did was remove any parts that would fall off easily and then turned it upside down a few times over my kitchen sink. I then held it upside down and pushed the plunger where the water enters from the reservoir and let it drain out that was as well. After drying it off and putting it back together, The fill levels were fine again. I believe the issue may have been caused by an air bubble, but regardless, it worked and I'm happy again.
